My Community Project 2019

Submissions closed at 2:00PM 15 May 2019 (AEST).

Have you confirmed a project sponsor?

Make sure you have identified an appropriate project sponsor and confirmed their support for your project before starting the online application.

Your application has two sections – the first section is completed by you as the project applicant and the second section is completed by your project sponsor.

For your application to be eligible, both sections must be completed before applications close at 2pm on Wednesday 15 May 2019.

Also note, it takes two business days for your section to be processed before the project sponsor is able to complete their section and complete the application.

It’s important you allow enough time for your project sponsor to review your section and complete their section. To allow enough time, we recommend that you submit your section by Wednesday 1 May 2019.

Saving and submitting your project application

Once you submit your section of the application, it cannot be edited. If you’re not ready to submit the project application, there is a Save Progress button on each page of the application so you can save what you’ve done and come back to complete it later.

It’s a good idea to provide your project sponsor with a printed copy of your completed section to review before you submit it. You can print a copy of your application from the Review and Submit page.

Once you click the Submit button, you will receive an email confirming it has been received. The application will be forwarded to your project sponsor in two working days, to the email address you provided – please ensure this email is correct. The sponsor will be able to view your part of the application but cannot edit it.

Providing a project description and image

As the project applicant, you will need to provide a short description of your project and an image or photo that will be published online for the public vote. For more information, refer to the Applicant Fact Sheet.
